The Results - Design Competition 2020

The votes are in! Congratulations Chex_Nix for winning the 2020 Jstris Skin Design Contest with his skin, Retro! You can now play with his blockskin on Jstris. The next 2 highest-placed non-meme skins, Color Cubes by DerpyBanana and Simple by JbDoesStuff, have also been added to the skin selection. Finally, two hand-chosen skins, Color Blocks by Gustavo91 and Critter by Skyear, selected by judges based on factors like creativity, playability, and visibility, complete this year's new blockskin set.

For the Emotes side, Congratulations metalliclurker for winning the 2020 Jstris Emote Design Contest with his emote infSTSD! You can now use his emote on Jstris. The next 3 highest-placed emotes, Tspin by SmolBepis, GG by noogai223, and F by sock, have also been added to the emote selection. Finally, 1 hand-chosen emote, Badger by Skyear, was selected as the final emote to complete this year's emote set.

In total there were 111 skin submissions and 22 emote submissions, with 875 users who voted on them. Thank you so much to all of you who participated in our contest and made this a reality. The imagination and artistry behind many of these designs were truly breathtaking.
